CSF’S OBJECTIVES
- Contribute to the development, growth, strengthening, and
integration of agricultural and food production enterprise initiatives
throughout the world that are built on the democratic principles of
cooperativism, and produce according to the principles of organic
agriculture (Ifoam and Agroecology), fair trade (FLO), and quality
(Slow Food).
- Serve as a bridge to shorten the food chain, promoting a
direct
relationship between growers and consumers, promoting a fairly
marketing of the product, locally and internationally, getting as much
added value as possible at the source.
- Establish relationships and alliances between farmers, transformers, and distributors, with the support of NGO’s, foundations, and different organizations, to add strength to this development strategy.
